My new animated short premieres this month — and I have some feelings about it.

Wishing Trees is a wordless animated short about what happens when the wishes we whisper to nature go unanswered. No dialogue, no explanation — just feeling, image, and the long silence after you've asked for something you're not sure will ever come.

This month, the film premieres at the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival in Palm Springs, then travels to the Cleveland International Film Festival and RiverRun International Film Festival in North Carolina. If you're attending any of them, please come watch the film.
