“Wishing Trees” Named Semi-Finalist at Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival

I'm thrilled to share that my animated short film, Wishing Trees, has been named a Semi-Finalist at the Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF). It's an honor to have Wishing Trees recognized by a festival known for championing outstanding independent filmmakers and animation from around the globe.

One of the artistic highlights of Wishing Trees is the stunning concept artwork and title design created by the incredibly talented Valerie Magarian. Valerie's beautiful illustrations helped establish the visual identity of the film long before the animation was complete. Her artwork captures the warmth, wonder, and emotional heart of Wishing Trees, setting the tone for the story and inspiring the visual direction throughout production. I'm so thankful for her creativity and for the care she brought to every piece she created.

As Wishing Trees continues its festival journey, I'm excited to share more behind-the-scenes artwork, production stories, and updates along the way. If you'd like a first look at the film, I invite you to watch the official trailer and subscribe to my YouTube channel to follow its journey through the festival circuit.

Thank you to the Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival for this recognition, to Valerie Magarian (www.valmagarian.com) for her beautiful artistic contributions, and to everyone who has supported Wishing Trees.
