Finding Minor Miracles: My Journey on The BlissFULL Life Podcast

Sometimes life gives you a moment to pause, reflect, and notice the small sparks of joy that make the journey worthwhile. I recently had one of those moments when I joined Regina Lawless for her podcast, The BlissFULL Life. Our conversation, “Embracing Minor Miracles” (Season 1, Episode 13), felt like sitting down with an old friend - one who truly sees the beauty in the little things.

We talked about the quiet truths behind my creative journey: the late nights animating frame by frame, the songs of my Ukrainian childhood that whisper into my films, and the long, winding road of bringing Bound / «Переплетені» to life.

For me, the “minor miracles” are everywhere:

  • A spark of inspiration while watching sunlight catch the edge of embroidery thread.

  • A note of folk music that carries me back to my grandmother’s village.

  • A message from someone who connected to my film and felt a piece of their own story reflected in it.

Our conversation reminded me that creativity isn’t just about the final product-it’s about these small moments of connection and wonder. They sustain us through the uncertainty, the self-doubt, and the endless to-do lists that come with making independent films.

I left this conversation with a full heart, grateful for the space to share not just the “how” of animation, but the “why” that keeps me going.

If you’re walking your own creative path—or simply trying to notice the quiet joys in your day-I hope this episode gives you a gentle reminder: the little miracles are always there, waiting for you to see them.
